Sharing files in OneDrive with external guests
- Go to onedrive.com in your web browser

- Click sign in

- Sign in with the account you login to Teams

- Once you are in OneDrive you will see all of your folders/files that you have uploaded/sync’d
**note: If you haven’t uploaded any files, you can do that here as well**

- highlight the folder or file you want to share, Click on the 3 dots and select share
**note: if you have more then one file to share, I would suggest you put those files in a folder and share the folder**

- now click on the > next to “Anyone with the link can edit

- here you will see more options
- you can select who you want to share this folder/file with
- you can also set an expiration date to stop sharing access
- you can set a password needed to access the files
- click apply when you have made all selections

- you will see a check next to option you have selected
- click apply

- type in all the email addresses of the people you are wanting to share this file with
- Click send

- You will get a notification that the link to the file was sent

- You will get an email confirmation that the folder/file is being shared

- The person you shared with will also receive an email, when they click on open, it will take them to your OneDrive where the file is located

- Once the person has successfully gained access to the folder/file you will receive a confirmation email

- If you have not set an expiration date for access to this file, you can stop sharing manually
- Go to the file in OneDrive and click the 3 dots and select details in the drop down

- Click on manage access
- Click the down arrow next to the person(s) you have given access to

- Click the X next to their email address

- You will get this popup and you can confirm that you want to remove access to the listed email address for the person
